    Ironworker here. We use a paste wax type cutting medium that stays on and makes a smaller mess. My tube is so old that I cannot read the brand anymore. We recommend a hex shank drive so we can use our impact wrenches. They make a world of difference.

    We like the abrasive Radnor brand sold at Airgas. I personally like the Lenox as well but they are almost unbearably loud.

    My Bosch worm drive with mag base is definitely a higher quality saw. I own 4 worm drives and it's the best. My skillsaws and craftsman are also good saws. It's kind of hard to not like a worm drive when doing hard repetitive cuts such as beveling 2x4's by 16 feet at 30 degrees for concrete...

    The chrome 8 gallon Hart at Walmart has been a solid performer and it's dirt cheap when on sale. I bought 3 last year at 30 bux apiece.

    The Engineer PH-57's are awesome too and a little less expensive. The very first time I cut some 4 gauge wire I laughed maniacally.
