    Show your new tool arrivals

I will when I'm ready to strip and paint the whole shell, I just wanted to stop the rust and get some protection on there for now until I'm done with teardown.

    Show your new tool arrivals

I picked up the surface conditioning tool from HF to clean up the roof of my project Mustang and get some rattle can primer on it for protection until I'm ready to strip and paint the whole thing. Worth every penny even at full price.

Any info on the Daytona 6 ton jack stands

I didn't think to mention that but yes. There are also two versions of the Daytona 3 ton but the better version seems to be most available. It took me a while to get a second pair of the better 6 tons.

Any info on the Daytona 6 ton jack stands

My project Mustang is on a set, I have no complaints. There is plenty of room to work without extending them.

Thinking about retiring my USA Craftsman tools

I gave my 90s/00s stuff to a buddy to get him started, the prices I was seeing weren't worth the effort it would take to sell them.

1/4" and 3/8" socket drawer nearly complete.

Talk about reading into things lol. His ratchet collection is nice, I said that clearly. Your cattle are impressive, I'm happy for you too. I have a collection of orchids that is valuable and includes a number of awarded plants that nobody else in the world has. We all have our thing and being...

1/4" and 3/8" socket drawer nearly complete.

I'll give you two, if you care enough to want more it's easy to look at someone's post history. I'm clearly not the only one to find the guy a bit abrasive but there's at least one on every forum.

1/4" and 3/8" socket drawer nearly complete.

I don't think there would be nearly as many "haters" if the guy didn't go around to thread after thread with a chip on his shoulder calling everyone who doesn't have the whole Snap-On catalog poor, especially when the only action they see is using 6 ratchets to do one oil change so they all get...

New Icon G2 Wrenches? (Not just Ratchets)

I'd really have the fanboys in a tizzy if I put orange Snap-On handles on my Icons 😂

New Icon G2 Wrenches? (Not just Ratchets)

This thread made me have an identity crisis, apparently I'm simultaneously Elon Musk and trailer trash.

What’s the use case for the new tekton 1/2” drive large impacts up to 50mm?

E46 too, did the wheel bearings on my 330 last year and had to buy a 46mm.

Talk me out of this husky 27” box combo

I watch marketplace constantly and people in my area think their 15 year old, sticker covered, rusty and dented Snap On boxes are worth new retail prices.

I built an app to track tool collections and I'm looking for beta testers

I signed up and got the invite but I can't figure out where to download the app, thetooldb.app link just goes to a webpage and nothing comes up in Google Play.

Looking at the cost of a big red Snap On ssdmr4br ratcheting screwdriver

Ordering direct is quick and easy, and if you spend $250 or more shipping is free. My local Snap-On guy is cool but if I want enough to hit that free shipping threshold I'll just buy direct instead of waiting two weeks for him to order in what I want and arranging to meet him.

Beginner perspective on buying ratchets and sockets

If tools don't matter then why does this forum exist? We can all just do everything we need with the 40 piece all in one tool kit from Walmart lol I used that Craftsman junk for 20 years before I started upgrading, but go on and tell me more about how I lack knowledge and competence.

    Most Broken tools

I can't believe I'm the first to say snap ring pliers. Snap rings are obnoxious under perfect conditions, get some gunk in them and go after them with cheap pliers and you're guaranteed to invent some new profanities.

Beginner perspective on buying ratchets and sockets

If the goal is rounding fasteners and busting knuckles old Craftsman is fantastic. I'm so glad to have replaced mine with Snap-On and Icon.

Let’s see the industrial plant mechanic tool bags

I bought one of these thinking it could be good to have my common tools for trouble calls my pocket kit can't handle, it just arrived and holy **** it's huge 😂 This thing looks like it will hold as much as my first toolbox did. It's as big as my laptop backpack and probably larger in volume.

I talked myself into buying the Icon 1/4 and 3/8 sockets sets but the ratchets look like ****

Warranty it and pay the price difference to get a G2. The G1 ratchets felt pretty nice when they replaced my Craftsman RP but then I got some G2s and Dual80s that blew them out of the water.

New Icon G2 Wrenches? (Not just Ratchets)

That one isn't a rumor, they showed the prototypes at SEMA that were pretty much a Snap-On Epiq clone.
