Hello all, I'm feeling a little stupid today... I am trying to wire a panel in my new detached garage. I have 2-2-2-4 ran from the house (not hooked up in the house panel yet). The problem I have is this, the wire isn't color coded. The 4awg has a yellow stripe but for the 2aw wires, one says...

All done! Spoke with Wolf Creek Saw Shop and they said the cylinder is essentially a "press fit" and to use my original cylinder bolts to draw the 2 halves together. So that's what I did!

Yep I bought it from Wolf Creek. It appears to be in the correct packaging and everything else looks like it's in the same place as the original but yeah unfortunately it's a no-go. I've called them and left a message this morning, I'm sure they will make it right.

I didn't know about the ignition issues. What goes wrong? Coil problems I imagine.

Too late now. I went fairly mild on the porting so it should be tuneable while increasing power.

Said "why not" and modified the muffler. Didn't want to go crazy so I just opened it up some. Still debating if I should drill the center out. Rinsed the muffler out good with hot water and used my heat gun to dry it after I was done.

In a normal setup you'd be 100% correct but this is the clamshell style cylinder where the bearings are pressed onto the crank and are clamped in the cylinder by the 4 bolts through the engine. Look at my disassembly pic, it will make more sense.

I just found & purchased a $10 piston ring compressor set for small engines.

New bearings are installed, put crank in freezer and heated bearings with a heat gun and they just about fell onto the crank. New piston kit is in as well. I'm still waiting for the wrist pin bearing to assemble everything but I did install the rings on the piston and 1 circlip. I made sure to...
