Dumb question: If I use a 6x8, do I keep the 6 inch side on the sonotube or 8 inch side?

So the 6 piers are set up like this. Would the two bolted skids in Option B or three bolted skids in Option A work best. I can add more piers as well if needed, but I would rather not. I would prefer to extend 1 foot all around for a 10' x 14' shed. I am assuming the skids would be 4x6...

I have and 8 x 12 shed on sonotube piers all corners on center. The floor joists were installed right on the piers originally. A tree fell and destroyed the roof and more. I would like to build a new shed with a footprint of 10 x 12, first bolting skids to the concreate sonotubes, and then...
