Show us your Vintage Automobile Paraphernalia

Here's a vintage Strook Motorobe. It was tucked away in a cedar chest at my dad's place. Its big- I didn't measure it but its laid out on a king-size bed. The construction is a bit coarse, either wool or possibly horsehair. Its another undiscovered treasure that I never saw growing up and...

Sealed box of Humble Oil promo pencils. A Humble pot strainer in the kitchen too. I'm finding some interesting items as I clean out Dad's place. Humble was a Texas oil company bought out in 1973 and eventually became Exxon.

What did you do "IN" your garage today?

How about an air powered diaphragm pump? They'll run dry, are self priming and move some solid ****. I usually pointed out the distinction between a clogged drain and a backing up drain to the production operators. Clogged drains were usually jammed with the broken glass and labels that they...

I think those pulleys could be weighted returns from a set of drapes. An alternative to screwing a return pulley into the baseboard.

I worked in a bottling plant for the last 19 years & one of our high-speed fillers (1200 bpm) needed the product chilled to 34°F or else it would foam. An ammonia chiller cooled the 30% glycol solution. What's the target temp for your glycol loop?

Pantagraph type engraver, made by Anderson Tool & Manufacturing. This thing has been hanging around our family basements since my grandma moved in 1975. I don't know what type of cutter was on this. I'm in the midst of a basement clean up and this guy is probably going to end up without a seat...
