Yeah I agree the speeder would fit nicely if the socket tray was shorter like it depicted in catalog. I will get measurements of my speeder later. This is a common problem I have with speeders and cases(Plomb/P&C mostly) 😆

I have this really nice case so I ordered a 1/4 speeder hoping it would fit…maybe it’s not the right era speeder? Part decal on outside is gone but it looks like a 1420. Anyone know if the earlier 62M (one pictured is a MFD USA) are different? To me it looks like the case in catalog is either...

First post on this thread…here’s some pawn store socket bin finds!

Pretty good for Idaho…however the previous owner just retired and moved from SoCal 🤷 😆 . A lot of firsts for me in this haul! 🤷

Luckily the plain steel under is good quality and cleans up nice!

Loaded up the kids and drove an hour away to get this off marketplace! Funny thing is he thought the hex drives were rare and it was listed as “hex drive socket set”. Wish it had more P&C sockets but my first 1” 3/16, and a craftsman L handle. Outside is “crinkle” but inside is smooth.

Nice finds! I have the 3/4 one, still on hunt for the matching “plug” or even any older USA to go with it.

Found this 19” long 2242 yesterday! I was going to pick up a Plomb wrench off marketplace and when I got there they showed me some more tools they had in shed. I saw this in pile and knew exactly what it was. Didn’t want to act too excited 😆

The knurling makes that even cooler! I hope to find one of those as well. I use the 15/16 half of a 1 x 15/16 for 5/8 hardware 😆

Got these from Mr.Tim in Northern Idaho. My only pebbled P&C and it’s a big one, a little bent but it just adds character haha.
