Just cutting new pins to shorter length.

Discovered I had damaged my Klein D2000 linesman while at work today cutting small diameter (1/16") solid roll pins. Where did I go wrong and what are the limits for the D2000? Looking for recommendations on cutters that can withstand the roll pins.

The only Dremel I have burned up was a basic 100 series used mostly for cutting and grinding stainless. The Milwaukee M12 Dremel has treated me well the last few years. Found that cutting wheels grind down quickly on steel, transitioned into grinding wheels with better results.

This photo shows the lobster claw a bit more clearly, and many members have confirmed it is a known issue with Wright. While it may not affect functionality, it is a forging QC defect that should have never left the factory.

Enjoyed your update and great photos. What made you choose the 6.5mm? Most of the beatin' screwdrivers I see in the field are 5/16 or 3/8. How does the blade perform with twisting and prying? I tend to use a beatin' screwdriver more for wedging and twisting.
