Update~ After scrubbing the box with car wash detergent and letting it dry, I sprayed it entirely with Gibbs, which is like a high end WD40. Wiped it smooth and thats the way it will stay. It darkened up that textured blue paint rather nicely. There is some Gibbs residue on it, i'll let it...
