    There is no reason to remove the exisiting receptaclle AS LONG AS you only use one at a time. The first pots was correct, use a small 4 breaker subpanle to power your 120 volt outlets, BECAUSE the 120 volt outlets are rated at 20 amps at best AND if you get a short the 30 amp breaker will not...
