no coincidence O/S. Duro/Indestro, Herbrand, Vlchek, and Barcalo were suppliers to Western Auto. The owner of Western Auto was related somehow to the owner of Bog Mfg.

Razor blades and wd40 works great to accomplish what your doing on the blade. Sure it's a little messy but the results are worth it

Lugs I'm am about 90% positive that's a Williams box The lid corners and the box ends are exactly the same as the one I have. The lid hinges are very similar but not the same and the nub on the lid to hold it closed doesn't look exactly the same. aprox size 1" tall x 5 1/2" wide x 2 7/8" deep

Paraffin wax works the best imho.

I have seen them go $2000 for very nice condition w/ mid box to $400 for one spray bombed gray to hide the faults no mid box.

mattblast I seem to remember old metal gas cans having spouts like that. I could be wrong and it probably won't be the last time if I am.
