    Deburring stainless exhaust pipe

I do a lot of stainless, tube and pipe. The little swivel deburring hand tools are no match for burrs left by a chop saw. I just use a carbide bit on a die grinder to get the insides. I use the side of the chop saw blade for the outside burrs and to true up the cut edge. As crude as this is...

    Show off your lifts!!!

Very nice, I haven't used it yet for that, but I definitely will! I love it, we used to have a older rotary, this thing is a whole lot nicer, more stable, wider, more features, goes up higher and down lower, smoother, built better etc. Don't get me wrong, I loved using that older rotary, and...

    Show off your lifts!!!

Please don't mind the construction. Currently, in the middle area of the this car, I can stand up fully with out bending over (I'm 5ft 11"), however, most cars/trucks are larger and we plan on building a recess in the ceiling so the car/truck can go up another 2ft. I am really pleased with...

    Welding Aluminum

Use acetone to clean prior to welding. Tungsten color depends on what kind of machine you are using, inverter and transformer based machines call for different kinds of tungstens. If this is your first shot at welding old aluminum, you should practice on some scrap first. Type of filler...

    Is this welder worth it

I think its too expensive as well. I pretty much tig everything now, but I bought a little miller mig used for 150 that I have used for years. The ~4-5ft tall bottles, largest ones they would let me buy, cost me 280 filled for my first time, then ~80 to refill. I burn through about 8 bottles...
