I just got the pair of these for Christmas from the wife. I guess she saw them on the DIY show "Cool Tools". They seem clever enough. I used them installing 5 48'' overhead lights in our garage and they seemed legit enough. Anyone else have any experience with these? Info Page...

I like the color. A subtle grey epoxy floor with matching wall color flakes would look pretty legit.

Thanks. I really was debating on the clear. Allot if mixed opinions on it. I'm happy I did it. "If" it yellows than atleast I can say I tried. This will be one of my last garage projects before I deploy again. So we'll see how it looks in 9 months from now with zero maintenance.

All I can say is you can see the light bouncing off the floor onto the walls. Super happy. I just need to finish the raised concrete pieces once the floor is dry enough to walk on. The wife liked it and she is the hardest sale on the planet.

Thanks Legacy. I am confident in the product I applied. I'll actually have a comparison soon between epoxy-coat and Rock Solid as well soon. We will be doing my brother's garage in Rock Solid so we shall see.

I just bought something similar at Lowe's. Only 12 bucks there and it comes in a nice satin black.

I read that thread. The guy didn't use the actual Epoxy-Coat company stuff. If I recall it was rustoleum or quickcrete. I could be wrong though.

Clear is done. Super easy installation on the clear. It is so much glossier now. The clear really was a must. I'll have some pics up shortly.

It is a 500 Sq Ft garage ( 2 car). I used 4.5lbs of flakes.

Hmm. Ok. There site says 18 hours is the optimal time. I was just referencing that.

Applying the clear in about an hour. 61 degrees out and 20 hours after the base was put down. The base is harder than wood pecker lips right now. Wish me luck.
