Hi Jasonz, I am looking to do some work to the ceiling in my garage also. My advice is to contact an engineer. A couple hundred dollars is worth the peace of mind. This is what I will be doing.

Thanks for the info. Can't beat Torq Thrust II's i am looking at a full suspension upgrade for mine. maybe drop 1.5" I would like to do a T-5 swap. mine is currently a 289 auto. Tri Power would be nice too. My brother has a 67 in sunshine yellow pretty close to yours.

What is the size and backspacing on your rims? Are they torq thrust II's? Is that the factory ride height?

tyztoyz, This is the setup I am looking for in my new garage. How high are your ceilings? What brand is your lift. I have a 68 coupe Lime Gold which I want to store on the lift for the winters and tinker on it.
