    Craftsman Pliers

I bought that set brand new about 2000 when I got hired on as a CATV tech in college. Used them everyday for 8 years in the field and they were great!! I have since changed careers, and I still have them and use them around home now. Same finish on mine too! But great investment 22 years ago!

Nice job, looked like a mess at the beginning! I'm a fellow Youngstowner also with a motorcycle garage. My lift isn't flush with the floor though...

    Condensation on duct work.

You're reaching the dew point of the air on the duct. If you look at your conditions on a psychometric chart you can understand what it happening. Google it for more details. You can plot your conditions and know.

Am I an idiot, or is this just a HF junk oil can?

Well all the advice helped. I got it pumping oil tonight. I stuck my thumb over the opening without the extension on and got oil to flow!!! So I put a little Teflon tape on the threads of the extension (after all the stories of leaky cans I figured it couldn't hurt) and it works good now...

Am I an idiot, or is this just a HF junk oil can?

I now know what has been added to my future swap meet list... Everything is junk anymore. Why can't I get a decent oil can for a few bucks new? It doesn't get much more simple than an oil can...

Am I an idiot, or is this just a HF junk oil can?

I'll have to try flipping it over. I gave up because my thumb was getting tired... It seems like it's just moving up and down with no fluid getting sucked up.

Am I an idiot, or is this just a HF junk oil can?

I wanted a oil can for used motor oil for motorcycle chains, and non critical things needing oiled. I figured a lever type oil can is about as simple as it could get, right? Well I got this one at HF for $3.99 filled it up, and can not get a drop of oil to come out the spout. Do you have to...

    Help identifying tool/use

Yea, I have one of those!!! It's a battery terminal cleaner. The one side is for the post type connections on the battery, and the other is for the inside of the cable connection. They work good for corrosion on battery terminals.

Check out the Vintage Craftsman Box I scored!!

Yea the bags are great for truck tools. I have a lifted ford ranger with a tool box in the bed and it makes a lot of noise off road. I bought this based on the vintage cool factor. Not practical, however for a basement tool box is perfect.

Check out the Vintage Craftsman Box I scored!!

Cool, thanks guys. This is a neat setup for a portable box. I like the way it opens. I knew $20.00 was a good deal. This is in really good shape I think. I'll clean it up and either use it in the basement for duplicates of the garage stuff, or figure out something to use it for in the...

Thanks guys!! I'm not afraid to run my purchases thru the wife. Then I just know what degree of hell to prepare for.... Haha . She's usually pretty cool to my obsessions. Anyone know what possible year it might be? I think around 1950's, but not sure??
