seems like they update the listing every few days, I looked last week and they were sold out at several different times but the next day or two they would have more available.. The same seller has several other listings also.

friend of mine is an electrician, he said he would mount the outlet box and get some kind of clamp, and drill out a solid outlet cover and mount the clamp to pass the cable through... I would assume the clamp hes talking about is some type of romex clamp..

I know how that goes.. I'm doing the garage first, then moving onto the house.. priorities, lol..

Thanks for the picture.. looks good. Thats plenty bright, if you finished the walls and ceiling or just painted some stuff white it would brighten it up more and might possibly be too bright.

I've read numerous posts of folks using them.. One guy buying them has bought over 700 or 800 of them.. I'm still on the fence about them, i'm going to make a trip to Sams club over the weekend and see what they have. what I have noticed through several posts is it takes more of the ebay...

can you go through the back of this fuxture to hardwire it? Is there any way you can post some picures of the light itself and maybe with them in use in a building? Thanks.

I'm going to be putting up bright white metal siding on the ceiling and 4ft down the walls, then a light gray kicker panel at the bottom of the wall.. I have a 9 ft garage door offset to the right front of the building, 18inches off the right wall.. The entrance door is on the left side...

the ones lowes sells are nice.. they have the end link capability, and electronic ballasts so they work from zero degrees... my next choice would be the cooper/metalux fixtures.. if you get on ebay they have the single strip led lights for like $15 each.. you have to buy like 5 or 10 or 15...

also make sure your first outlet in your run is a gfci outlet.

I have a 20x18 garage with 7 1/2 ft brite wite metal ceilings, do you think 8 of these would be enough for a general shop, maybe light fabrication and mechanic work. I'm 46 so my eyes arent the greatest anymore.

the new 4ft t8 flourescent light fixtures with electronic ballasts supposedly work down to zero now. at east thats what my cooper/metalux lights say on the box.
