HF Toolboxes Workbench - Phase 3

Not sure where they are available in the States, but here in Canada they are available through stores like Home Depot and Costco among others. I ordered mine through HD online when they had a huge sale on them a few years back. They have several levels of toolboxes and mine are more on the entry...

Half attic/scissor trusses. How to finish opening?

So you'll insulate the walls, floor and ceiling of the attic space?

Half attic/scissor trusses. How to finish opening?

My shop has half scissor and half attic trusses. I'm on the fence on whether I should close it up, or leave it open. I would think insulating would be much simpler if the it was closed up. Thoughts/advice? Would love to see photos of those who have the same truss setup and how you it looks...

How to attach ceiling drywall to gable end?

I must apologize in advance as I wasn't sure how to search for this question or even how to accurately title my thread. My walls are 2x6 and there's no overhang on the gable end inside to attach the ceiling to. What's the best/proper solution to this? An extra 2x6 top plate that's offset...

HF Toolboxes Workbench - Phase 3

Understood and I appreciate that, but the reason for asking is that there are many different options available in the size and weight that I need so was curious what others bought.

HF Toolboxes Workbench - Phase 3

I'd be curious to know the part numbers for the tube inserts and leveling feet, if anyone wouldn't mind sharing. I see many options on the jwwinco.com website and before I put my order in, I'd love to know what every else bought.

Started the electrical work. Lucky for me, my dad and brother are electricians. Scored a couple of commercial 2x4 LED fixtures. They light up the right bay pretty well, but I may space them out a little more. I'll be putting some pot lights under the attic trusses. We also started the...

We ran into a bit of an issue with the garage door that took several weeks to resolve. The garage is split between attic and scissor trusses. The doors were ordered with extended tracks for 10' walls and tracks that follow the inside pitch of the scissor trusses. For some reason, the manufacture...

Finally get back to updating this thread. I was away in Vegas last week and have been playing catch up since then. I'll let the photos do the talking. I'll take a better day picture of the roof today. Today the sheathing, wrapping and doors/windows should be all done.
