    Order the new sash. Number of window is somewhere on the glass of frame. Cheaper, faster and stronger than going to a glass shop and gettig a single pane of glass and trying to get it to fit the frame etc.

    SLIPPERY FLOORS! Help!

    I had the same problem. After it is good and dry, throw a couple of shovel fulls of sand and sweep it around leaving it on the surface. Sweep up after a week and your gloss slippery surface should be gone. Went from an ice surface to very functional with light scratches..

    Soak for two hours in Muriatic acid. Chrome will just lift off. Cheap stuff but dangerous..Buy it at any masonry yard.

    When you get a "great deal" on craigs list like that how do you know the stuff isn't Hot? I always insit on paying with a check, so I have proof positive that I paid for the goods., but I still wonder as I have been ripped off a few times, and don't feel like encouraging thieves.

    A product called "Shark Skin" eliminates a lot of the slippery situation. On my finished and slippery shop floor I placed a couple of shovel fulls of fine sand, let it lay around for a week scratching the gloss finish, then swept it up. Worked pretty well
