Seems wierd that it would want 25 1/2 opening. Should be fine moving a truss only problem is where you roof sheets and sheetrock break. I would shop around I got a very nice roof ladder that fit perfect with 2' centers.

So if you need a flat under the spring lock to keep it from gouging into your part because that sharp edge bites in when you back it off and,,,( he said sharp edge bites) The guy that wrote that book sounds like he bases off opinion instead of fact! IMO

I installed mine last fall. I didn't get any instructions or even a picture! It took awhile to figure it out and when I found out they give me the wrong rails and I had to go back to the store they give me the directions. Long story short make sure you get instructions if your doing it...

I guess I would be a hamber if I was into that. I like snowmobiles because there are NO RULES on the mountain!:rocker: and I like trucks! I built my garage last summer and will be tricking it out this summer. This site looks like a great place for info and ideas. Hope to meet some good peeps!
