Thanks for the replies guys. The stand seems pretty sturdy so I think I'll keep it for now. I tell ya this 1hp doesn't even bog down when grinding pretty hard. Absolute world of difference over the cheap "3/4hp" harbor freight it is replacing.

Picked this up today from pawn shop. Seems to be in really good shape. Original wheels, everything stock and nice. Even has the tag on the cord telling what plug to use for 220. Does anyone know if the stand is one for this grinder or just a universal stand?

I have a Coleman ct50 flashlight and it has been an excellent flashlight. Been dropped numerous times and never had an issue. Takes 6aa batteries and the battery life is excellent. Has high and low mode. Check it out I don't think you would be unhappy.

I appreciate all the replies. I don't really want to have it on a temp sensor just because this fan would be to cool the aftercooler more than a fan for the compressor pump itself. That's why I was wanting it to run while the compressor is running. Not against having it run for a min or two...

I went to my local Hydraulic hose place and had them make me some custom steel braided Hydraulic hoses. Rated to like 400 degrees or so. Been on there for a few months. Hope they last a while. Cost about $60 I think.
