How do these things hold up to loaded jack's and jack stands?

Man... Every time I turn around it's another 2 grand...

Lots of good ideas on materials that I didn't even consider. Where would I find these steel panels? I've found a million places on line but NO ONE lists prices...guess i'll be making some phone calls tomorrow

I plan to have the walls sprayed with foam insulation like my parents new energy efficient home.

Not a bad idea. I also thought about hanging welding blankets from the ceiling down to the top of the drywall section

Yeah, I'm not having any luck with other substrates, looks like i'll be doing drywall. Are you guys using green board (moisture resistant) for the bottom runs along the floors. I can foresee spilt liquids finding their way to the walls.

Thanks guys, when we get started I'll be sure to start a thread. Here are a few of the Jeep. The blue CJ I just sold and the White TJ I just bought. Please excuse the poser shots of the TJ, I haven't had it long enough to take it anywhere with rocks.

The shop is going to be 50'x50' with 16' ceilings. I'm trying to do as much as I can on my own but HATE drywalling...it may come down to hiring it out though.

I just got a new Mac and don't know how to do pictures yet. My mom is a Mac-head and is coming over tomorrow night to watch my daughter while the wife and I go out, I'll have her school me.

I have a steel building that I am turning into a shop. I am going to put up some studs just inside of the beams and was going to drywall the whole thing. I'm trying to find ideas on less time consuming and less labor intensive coverings. What about the panels used inside enclosed trailers...

Hi all, I'm planning my ultimate shop. I'm a hobbyist mostly into Jeeps. My dad has a 50'x100' steel building that he and I have decided to split in half; 50'x50' for storage, and 50'x50' for our shop. I'll be leaning on you guys for suggestions as we get rolling. I just bought a 2 post...

I've read that epoxy coatings can get "pitted" or melted by welding slag etc. I use my garage as hobbyist working on my Jeep and break out the welder and plasma cutter often. How durable is your coating against this? Any discounts for a guy who has to cover 2500 sqft?? :bounce: Thanks!
