Re: The Time Machine Garage I've just never had the opportunity to do much, if any, of that type of work, so I try to learn all I can from the people on GJ. Great resource.

As I read through every page of this thread, mouth wide open, I realized I have almost no skills. ;) Great build and thanks for sharing. Now, I need to learn about electric, plumbing, welding, etc. :thumbup:

Thanks...I was glad to get it. I had been trying to decide if I was going to build a bench and then I happened on this one.

I picked up this drafting bench for $125 a few weeks ago at a surplus warehouse. Solid as a rock. I have no idea what they are worth new, but I couldn't pass up the deal. It should be great for a lot of tasks.

A good idea that I read about on this forum is to take pictures of plumbing locations in the ground, prior to concrete, and pictures of the walls and location of wiring, etc. That way when it's covered up, you'll know what's in there.

I can't even begin to say how many ideas I've gotten off the forum. Some of the ideas are still yet to be completed, but I'm always looking at threads to get ideas.

I'll have a Jeep in there at some point, but mainly a work area and an indoor food prep for cooking outside. I put the garage door on one side so that I could open it when we have family over.

Thank you to everyone on the forum. I've been lurking for many years and used many of your ideas to make this happen. 20'x30'x12'with 12' porches. The floor covering and plumbing aren't completed yet, but should be in the next month or so. I used all LED lights and plan to build the bathroom...
