    Which Wilkerson Air Filter/Regulator

Let me check at work tomorrow. We are a distributor for Wilkerson. If it isn't on my shelf, the lead time is terrible!

    Air line

Check the flow of the regulator if that is available. Just because you have a bigger inlet (3/8) doesn't mean it will automatically flow more air, especially when dealing with regulators and filters.

    4 Post Lift Shopping

I have the Atlas 8000 from Greg Smith, got it with the jack and the accessories listed on the site. It's listed for $2595 with free freight (you will have to add the jack in if you want it) It stores cars most of the time and goes up and down maybe 2 times a month.

Hydraulic System Questions - Filters and Cylinder Bleeding

Correct. The cylinders are single acting, meaning that fluid is only on the extend side. When the valve is open to lower the lift, the fluid drains back in to the tank, pulling air back into the head of the cylinder via a vent.

Hydraulic System Questions - Filters and Cylinder Bleeding

Hydraulic filters are directional (they only flow in one direction.) Since these systems do not recirculate, the fluid is pumped out extending the cylinders and when the pressure is released, the weight of the lift pushes the fluid out of the cylinders and back thru the line to the reservoir...

Prevent grass sticking to Mower Deck?

This works, I started spraying my mower deck after my experience racing motocross here in the mid-west. I spray the undersides of the fenders before riding and it makes washing bikes a breeze. If it is going to be a mudder, cover the rotors and go to town! Mud builds up to some degree, but...

    Gas cans

https://wavianusa.com/ True Jerry cans. they make small ones as well and a free flow spout. Expensive, but well worth the money. I have 2 20l and 1 10l. My son and I race motocross and these have been thrown in and out of a trailer damn near every weekend for years.

What is a good degreaser anymore ?

I would wipe down with simple green, dry and then use a pre paint prep specific for cleaning prior to paint. Use something like this: http://us.ppgrefinish.com/PPG-Refinish/Notifications-Result/2017/SX-Cleaners-SX320,-SX330-and-SX440

    Fab / welding table rehab.

Awesome table. I have an old fixturing table I bought from a guy in Detroit. 1/2 inch holes drilled and tapped on 2" square. I had the same trouble you did! Getting it out of the truck and onto the stand I made was a challenge for the old hoist! Great table though. Yours looks to be as stout!

    Compressed Air Oil Separator

40 micron is pretty large and are usually sold with cheap filters. Wilkerson stuff, links above, come standard with 5 micron and can get down to .1 micron. Probably no need to run a desiccant at the point of use. You run the risk of the compressed air picking up the desiccant and combining...

    Compressed Air Oil Separator

desiccant is for water vapor and coalescing filters are for oil vapor. Since you have a refridge dryer, use a particulate filter, than a coalescing filter then plumb into the dryer. Desiccant should have an after filter to prevent desiccant particulate from being sprayed. Good info here...

Tell me about it. I swore to never own black top driveway after doing just this as a kid. Have a concrete driveway now! Best money I ever spent as far as home improvement goes.

    One Amazing Fabrication Table

I have to respectfully disagree with Steve as I have experience with prototype shops doing work for the military and other government agencies. As far as commissioned work on his website? What he is working on is property of his customers, they more than likely do not want their pictures...

What type of gasket dressing/sealant for a transmission?

The Toyota stuff is the best. Buy it from the dealer. My son races motocross and I use this stuff on all of the 2 stroke bottom end rebuilds without fail. Comes apart easy, cleans up easy and works awesome.
