I didn't realize that some weren't USA made until I read it here. I picked up 3 (1/4, 3/8, 1/2) at my local Sears and they are all stamped USA. I got them to replace/augment my 80's teardrops. I like them.

You are right TheGunCollector. When I think about it, I wonder if the reason for that is because we started being desensitized to those symbols of American history starting a couple (or more) of decades ago. That and for some reason, electronics (technology) seems less "simple" than forged...
