Beware! Inadvertently touching AC while in DC setting will not produce a good result. My other meters just ignore AC if in DC setting. The item pictured is the old design. Go to GB website and you'll see the new design, in which the inputs are horizontally arranged. Also, "off" exists at both 9...

I noticed some very pretty blue dust under C4 and C6 on the motherboard of this little gem. I thought, "Maybe red will work better than black!" Sure enough!

Anyone have a calibration routine for a Craftsman 982408 / 82408 multimeter (or similar)? I can't seem to discover the MFG. It has 3 calibration points, so far as I can tell. A blue-colored VR1 near the LCD, then a VR2 and 3 elsewhere on the board. I've had this thing since the early 1990s, or...

Yeah, those torx are nice. It's the oddball tirangle bits and such that seem to be unavailable with long shafts.

The 4mm style is an excellent suggestion, at least for smaller bits. Amazon has at lease one long reach set with what appears to be an 8mm max dia extension.

Or a Keurig. One guy was 10/12" deep inside. Fortunately it was phillips, not security.
