Tekton sells relabeled Wilde USA pliers on amazon for cheap. They're the red handled slip-joint and groove-joint.

I love their Maxx ratchets and their locking extensions but even I wouldn't get a full set for aviation MX.

I just wish a Napa would stay open past 5 out here. The one here has some Carlyle stuff, but it's behind the counter and the employees are too busy with phone orders or sales to be asked to see their tools.

I'm still active duty and haven't ever used a craftsman at work. It's been all Snap On for all of our tools and that's multiple bases and airframes.

I use the radio shack ones exclusively on zip ties, and even on the plastic, they are pretty dull after a couple years of use. I'm looking for new ones and these Tronex look awesome, but may be overkill for just plastic zip ties.

We use Snap On spline drive combos on multimillion dollar aircraft in the USAF and have no issues rounding fasteners.

I own the new 1/4 and 1/2 locking flex ratchets and purchased them earlier this year from advance auto when they were running that huge online sale.
