    Between 705 & 1200 SQ/FT The Vintage Garage - Bucharest, Romania.

Makes perfect sense, here in my area, we have a few European car specialists. There is nothing wrong with specializing in the BMW brand. That's a good plan, of course it will take years to bound a reputation and client base. That is a part of laying the foundation for any business. I think you...

Bogdan are you in a central location in the city? I totally understand your statement about property value especially in Eastern Europe/Balkan Regions. In your case keep in mind that in order for your business to grow you will eventually need more room to work. Having the space to expand the...

    The Bimmer Basement

Mpower, when the garage floor was poured was a vapor barrier installed. I'm guessing it was, but it is wise to make sure. I have also seen epoxy applications where logos were incorporated into the floor. I think the floor would look awesome with the M stripes and the rest of the floor white!

Where did you source the dye? What brand, and supplier? I re dyed some seats in a Cadillac Deville the fronts came out good, but the rear would slightly flake. I prepped the seats per directions and used the adhesion promoter. Nice progress on your home! Congratulations on your engagement!

My BMW Motorsport 3 Car Garage Build

Everyone I know has had issue with the Rustoleum kit. I don't think it is the kit per se, in the case of my friends I can guarantee it was application error and or concrete that didn't have a vapor barrier and have moisture issues. I applied epoxy coat on my garage floor and am extremely...

    Mold - hardiplank siding

Ok here is what I do: buy Germicidal Bleach, buy liquid TSP, pump sprayer fill halfway with with hot water, I usually pour the gallon of bleach and a quart of TSP. then I adjust the mixture stronger or weaker as needed. I prefer to apply the mixture to a dry surface since I am prepping for...

    Motorcycle Roadracing Garage

The space looks good! What kind of cabinets did you go with? I recall reading your comment about Michigan winters, and I agree we have two seasons heat and AC sometimes we cycle back and forth a few times like we did in April and May.

Garage Happens - Suburban 3 Car

When painting cinderblock you need at the very least a one inch nap wool roller cover, the trick is to keep the roller loaded with paint. I prefer 1 1/2 nap roller cover but they can be more difficult to find. Another trick is to keep the roller moving fast, it will spatter but once you get the...

    Drywall primer/surfacer

Did you backroll? That may take down the orange peel effect. Just so you know you will always have some stippling on walls and ceilings, they type of sheen, wall condition and roller cover nap are big factors

    Drywall primer/surfacer

To the op I am a second generation painter and have only used a sprayer once and that was to solid stain a shadow box privacy fence. Brush and roll for this guy, makes more sense for me since 99% of what I do is residential repaints. So how smooth is the finish when applied to the surface?

    Drywall primer/surfacer

Well according to the PDS on the SW website it should cover 400 sq ft per gallon. Now of course fresh mud and drywall absurd more material, but it also states 64 sq ft per gallon at 25 mils. With a sprayer you will have overspray loss to factor in. Maybe try one area with a brush and roll...

What is the nap on your roller cover? I usually prefer a 1 inch nap or 1 1/4 nap. The trick is to keep the roller moving fast just make sure to use tarps because it will spatter.
