Quincy QTS-3 info

I picked up a Quincy QTS-3 minus the motor today and was wondering if I can use a 5hp spl 3450 on it or do I need a 1700rpm motor for it? It is also missing the air filter,crank case breather and safey valve. I got it for $30 with a 20 gal tank and figured it was worth the gamble. Looking for the replacement parts and cfm/ motor specs. THX

I have a Quincy QTS-3, (bought it in Quincy IL,) it has a 3450 rpm motor and motor pulley is approx 1.5" diameter.
As long as you can mount it on the compressor it should be fine.

I know this post is a bit old now...but did you ever get the pump working? I also have a QTS-3 that I am running with it's original 3 phase baldor. I am using a Variable Frequency Drive controller with 240 going on. It works great.
