I am new to the site. But I really enjoy it. Have learned a lot. Now I'm asking for help in Identifying this GFE vise. GFE is for General Fire Extinguisher which was around since 1892 and even had a foundry in Providence, RI. At some point maybe 1919 was sold to Grinnell then later to Tyco. The General Fire Extinuisher Brand may have continued for Sprinkler systems and fire extinguishers but I can't any history of a Vise. It was found more than 50 years ago at a rockford industries or Rockford foundry in Rockford, IL how it made there who knows. Found it on CL. Family had it for over 50 years. Any information would be appreciated. This thing is a monster. I plan on keeping it and restoring it. Thanks
