Incredible preview, Amazzen. I say preview because there's so much I'm sure that hasn't been shown.
Yes, I'm working on that.
I have a feeling that you've got some neat tools, too. Any vintage stuff? Any restorations of machinery in your shop?
No real vintage stuff. Closest thing I have is an older Harig surface grinder that I moved out because of its limited use.
As well, to the guy that's got an incredible to-do list, what's the dream project you haven't gotten your hands on yet? Anything slip through your grasp that you still wish you grabbed or had?
Came soooo close to owning a 69 Camaro ZL1 about 20 years ago....missed it by about 1 hour!...
Muscle car wise, I wouldn't mind a 70 Chevelle LS6 Convertible, 69 Boss 429 and 69 ZL1 or Yenko Camaro.
Dream car aquisitions would be a 48 Tucker or a Duesenburg because of their incredible historic significance.
Over the last five years (I'm 35) I've started accumulating the vehicles and projects I've dreamed about. My total is at 4 and I've got a few more on my list. Soon I'll get back into getting the list checked off too.
I'm sure I started hunting around 30 years of age too.... my advice is to be selective and buy only what you really want not just because its a "deal". Spend your money on buying projects and putting them away until you have the time. Finding great projects gets more difficult over time and more $$$.
One last question, is there anything you've sold? Or do you just keep them after they're done.
The only thing I've sold is a 99 Viper GTS I ordered new in 1998, it had 800 miles on it (mostly put on by my son) and it just didn't turn my crank. Nice car, but I didn't restore it so out it went. (no regrets). Besides it always helps to collect appreciating assets versus those that depreciate.
You've got a great hobby, congrats on working hard and retiring at a young age.
