Restored Desmond/Simplex Vises (4.25" and 3.75")

Fellow vise aficionados, I have yet another offering from my father's shop in Tucson. He came into a pair of these during our collective hunt for restoration candidates and decided to restore them side by side.

These are both Desmond/Simplex model 41P vises, with 4.25" jaws and fixed bases. They've been completely torn down, blasted, wire wheeled, primed and painted. As you can see, they look about as good as you're ever going to find and, as typical for Simplex vises, they've both lettered up superbly.

For GJ members, my father will take $200/each on the 41P fixed base vises, shipped. Yes, that price includes FedEx shipping with insurance and tracking to the lower 48.

Note: Gray fixed-base (41P) vise is sold as of 5/28, blue fixed base (41P) and gray swivel base (33S, see second posting) are still available.

[Decided to combine another new Simplex vise into this thread since it was due for a bump anyway and to keep things less cluttered.]

Here's another Simplex, this one is a model 33S, 3.75" jaw, swivel base. It's been fully restored, blasted, primed and painted, jaws, main screw, handle and swivel lock have all been buffed up. As with the above, they don't come restored much nicer than this.

Asking price on this one is $225 shipped to the lower 48. That is correct, shipping is included in the price and will be Fedex Ground w/insurance and tracking provided.

As always, shipping elsewhere is doable but cost is probably higher. Feel free to inquire if interested.
