Yes, yet another OCD empty peg thread!

So, this past Christmas Season, I picked up (6) sets of the Kobalt Socket Trays when they were on sale for $9.99.

(3) SAE, (3) Metric, for 6pt Chrome, 12pt Chrome and 6pt Impact

Now, the impact stuff? For some reason, my OCD doesn't (yet) extend to filling empty pegs on the trays.

But the chrome? Oh yeah.

I've started looking at GearWrench and SK open stock to fill, and figured that I'd post those part numbers here to help anyone in the same boat, but, additionally, since neither of those complete it, I'd ask for some suggestions.

Ideally, I could fill ALL of the pegs with the same brand, rather than a little GW, a little SK, a little of a 3rd or even 4th brand. But, if that doesn't work, it's a small price to pay to fill the pegs.

So, following posts:

Alrighty - hope that formatted clearly.

Any suggestions on filling gaps, or a more inclusive brand?

Aww, you don't have 16mm 1/4" pegs? Proto would have had you covered. This is why I'm making my own. My OCD couldn't handle it, and my sense couldn't handle my OCD. It would be some kind of mind altering internal struggle.

Heh, fortunately no 16mm 1/4" pegs.

Hey, here's another question - Craftsman doesn't (or didn't) seem to sell 1/4" drive 12pt sockets - there were none that were part of the 299pc socket set, and none as a part of any of my other sockets.

I see that GearWrench sells some, and I didn't really pay attention closely, but I think I saw some in the SK catalog.

From the Craftsman standpoint, there's 6pt and 12pt in SAE, but just 6pt in Metric.

Any ideas why?

You know what would really impress me? Make your own 17mm peg AND custom forge a 17mm 1/4 drive socket, too.

OH GOD MY OCD! AAAAAAAAAHHH!!!!!!!!
