Is this just an Indestro Ratchet rebadged Craftsman?

While they are very similar, I don't think indusro was ever a supplier, but I have been wrong before. I will say that right there is my favorite craftsman ratchet of any era. My dad has a few and they have great action to them. Industro I think made one of the most underrated ratchets out there, very nice ratchet.

Not a C'man collector, but isn't that the style of C'man ratchet that's called the "snap-on" style. Like maybe they made it for C'man.

Not positive, but think that's the case.

Someone who DOES collect C'man can shed some more light on the subject.

That ratchet doesn't look all original; it has two different screws holding the head cover on.

Made by Moore Drop Forge, which was later acquired by Easco, which was later acquired by Danaher, which later spun off its tool division into Apex Tools.

That style is sometimes refereed to as a box head Craftsman ratchet.

It's a similar design to an Indestro pear head ratchet, but they're both pretty generic designs, so a lot of ratchets are somewhat similar.

That would explain a lot

I believe the question's been answered, no relationship between the two brands. We can see though how an Indestro may look similar in shape to that Craftsman. Both have figure 8 face plates.

Farmall, a Metcoid ratchet would be the same as that boxy Craftsman.
