was looking for a big halfie breaker bar and stumbled on this at the flea market yesterday:

an SK 47155 nineteen inches 3/4" breaker bar, longer than John Holmes' :D

this set, 16" SuperKrome extension and Facom-made 1"1/2 socket, comes from Addison Building Materials, how it ended up, looking unused, in Marseille, France is a mystery to me... :headscrat

finish is not really "SuperKromish" though... :(

it's not *exactly* what i was after but since it looked good and was somewhat sturdier than what i was looking for, and, well, quite cheap, i brought it home along with his two friends:

Are the long needle nose pliers branded Craftsman? They look exactly like my Crescent pair that I just picked up.

Snap On adaptor set and seal remover set.

"Note to self" Hpozzuoli. Do NOT use those adaptors on an impact.

Bad news: a co-worker thoguht it was a good idea.
Good news: he had to buy me a new 1/2" to 3/8" stp down to replace it--yep, that's the big one on in the big slot.

Lesson learned.

It's stamped on the side and should be heeded.

BTDT.

LOLZ. Ha.

"I" knew the warning and heeded it, but Captain ******* co-worker did not in his haste to get a job done when borrowing.

Share tools, share epic ******* failures to those you lend them to.

It'd take a 1/2 keg of good beer to share 1/2 my tool stories.
Jeebus.

LOL.

You would think Snap-On with be above making non-impact tools in black oxide. That's a bummer.

I recently bought one of those. It's odd that it says that and is black oxide. My dealer told me it said that but also said I could go to town with it and if it needs replaced he'll replace it no problem as they don't make a step down impact adapter

Huh. I have a Snapon 1/2" to 3/8" adapter in black oxide. its from the late 80's and I thought it was impact. But I have only used it on a breaker bar as far as I remember.

Yeah they used to make a black oxide one that was for impact. Now the one that looks like it should be actually says not for impact use

Just because a tool have black finish doesn't make it impact rated. Just like this ******* coworker of mine who thinks sticking black chrome Stanley sockets onto impact gun is okay because it's not chrome. /facepalm

Satin/black oxide/industrial finished tools are for sensitive working environments such as food and medical, places you don't want chrome flakes.

Here was my latest purchase. Just got it from Toolwarehouse.

Also picked up a couple new sockets, Problem is they don`t fit my impact gun... There is over 100lbs of sockets there.

Nah, they are Crescent. Id been looking at them for awhile, not sure if Id use them. They were priced at $30. I was at a different Sears and they were tagged $19.99 - so I snagged em at that price.

Where did you get the Wera set with a 1/4 drive in the end and how much if I may ask?

I got em off eBay....paid $52 free shipping - they have a couple sets left.

Are either of those 1/4" drive? I have a little t72 but I would like to get a longer 1/4" flex aswell and was thinking one of the hard handled flex ones that are only available once or twice a year
