ALL SOLD
The vises are located in So Cal. I do not want to ship them.
I am planning on traveling between San Diego and Santa Barbara on Jan 1 (afternoon/evening) and back on Jan 2 (morning/afternoon). So I could meet you along the 101/405/5 freeways (probable route).
Wilton 744 vise, $70
- USA made
- 4" jaws
- massive swivel base
- weighs 46 lbs (last I looked current import ones weigh only 37 lbs)
- Original paint
- the original handle had some rust so it was replaced with a stainless steel handle
- includes wrench for swivel base
This is an early vise as it does not have the anvil on top. Why you would want to hammer on your vise I could never figure out. This has been on my son's workbench for the last several years but he "upgraded" (i.e. stole one of my vises) and now he wants to sell this one to finance camping grear for Boy Scouts. I believe it is about 35-40 years old but still in great shape.
Yost 204 bench vise, $150
- Made in USA
- Swivel base
- 4" wide jaws
- Opens to 6.5"
- 4" throat depth
- Weight: 57 lbs
- 65,000 PSI Tensile Ductile Iron Body Parts
I purchased this new for Christmas for the kid, but he still prefered to swipe one of my other vises to upgrade his work bench. So after sitting on the back of the bench unused, he also wants to sell it and get more camping equipment.
Amazon sells these for $400
Since the kid want to clean up, I should probably follow his example. So the following vises forsale are mine:
Yost 32C combination bench vises, 2 available, $150 each
- Made in USA
- Combination Pipe and Bench Vise
- Swivel Base
- 4.5" wide jaws
- 6" jaw opening
- 5" throat depth
- 3.5" diameter max pipe diameter
- Weight: 67 lbs
- 65,000 PSI Tensile Ductile Iron Body Parts
These are new old stock vises with the original factory paint. There are a few scruffs in the paint and the handles could use some oil, but otherwise they are unused. I picked them up thinking it would be nice to have two identical combination vises on either end of the work bench to handle long items, but I ended up with other stuff on the bench.
The curent version of this vise from Yost with the dark blue paint sells for about $500.
Cincinnati #5 universal mill vise, $110
- Swivel base
- 8.5" wide jaws
- Weight: 222 lbs
- 29" long (not including handle in the measurement)
- Includes handle as shown
I purchased this up a while back under the expectation I would use it on my mill. The first 3 pictures are of when I originally bought it. I then cleaned it up and replaced the nuts on the swivel base (one was originally missing). The swivel base is easily removable if desired). But I realize now it is really to big for me and I want my bench top space back.
If needed, I can bring along a Hoyer lift (mini wheeled crane) to make putting moving it from my pickup into your trunk easier.
