Hmm, they have the "Surface drive" logo with the wrench sets on their site. I wonder if Danaher supplies their wrenches

saw them for the first time about 8 years ago i think.........at welding supply store no less........no experience with them but seem to remember they didn't look too bad for the price.........other than that, no other feedback...........

They are an importer, and sell mainly to Canada, Japan, Europe and Israel. (Unless Israel is part of Europe?) They get their ratchet wrenches from Danaher, but they source things all over. I don't know much about their quality controls/standards.

My understanding is they are primarily sourced from Taiwan. I sent them an email a couple of years ago asking that very question...
I have encountered their product in person only once when I had my truck repaired at an independent garage. While the mechanic was working, I pawed through his tools and examined some Signet combo wrenches. They seemed of high quality, but no more so than other similar tools.

Yeah I thought Signet was Canadian ..
I have a set of Signet Flexi Gearwrenches .. Althought they are made by Gearwrench they are still have Signet warranty.

One of their distributors is a major bicycle parts distributor for Canada, and as a result, the bike shop I worked for over the last 10 years used their wrenches. Now obviously bikes aren't a real heavy duty application, but I never had any issues with them, never rounded one out, never broke one etc. I'd rate them at least as good as the stuff you can get from HD, Lowes, Canadian Tire etc.
Just to resurrect this thread if any one is interested, Signet main hand tools are made in
Taiwan. They are exactly the same tools as the Halfords Professional range
and are regarded quite highly over here, obviously factoring in the price.
For the money I think they are excellent value tools and can recommend them for people
not wanting to spend big money on the big boy's (Snap-On, Facom, Stahlwille, etc.)
Very good tools at a very agreeable price.

I have some and we also have some at work . They are good enough to make a living with . Made in China but what isn't these days .
