Has anyone come across a good price for a mobile (with wheels) miter saw stand? I thought that they went on special right around Father's Day each year or Black Friday. Looking for a Bosch or Ridgid or Delta or Dewalt. Would like one for my Dewalt 12 inch DWS782 miter saw. Thanks for in advance for any leads/suggestions.

Nice saw huh? I got the same model as a birthday gift last year. Got mine on a Dewalt DWX725B compact miter saw stand (which is now discontinued). Not a roller stand, but very sturdy. I'll keep my eyes open for roller stands, but I haven't seen any deals on one from HD or Lowes in a long time.

Yes, it is a nice saw, especially for the price that was paid.
Thank you for keeping an eye out. It is most appreciated!

That's about all I see unless you want one of the models where you gotta fold the legs up before it's mobile, but even then I didn't see any good deals.

Channellock is Aluminum, keep that in mind.
Channellock Rolling Miter Saw Stand. Fits most miter saws. Sliding extensions with rollers allow for 12' of stable support. Quick release mounting brackets allow for quick set up and tear down. Folds flat for easy storage. Lightweight aluminum construction - weighs only 36 lb. and supports 220 lb. 12" W. x 2.72' H. Clamp width: 2.5" to 17.5"; Clamp length: 20"; Length with bars pulled in: 42"; Height: 35" to top of clamp; Roller height: 5" adjustment; 36" off ground; Roller bar width: 15".

I would probably spend the extra $15 and go with the Dewalt.

Just got my shipping notification for the track lights posted earlier. Thanks! Glad to finally get rid of that ugly fluorescent light in my kitchen.

My most local of stores still has it at regular price

Im wondering if its another thing similar to the Milwaukee Fuel tools: clearance priced at stores that dont carry it or no longer WANT to carry it, just to get them out of inventory.

Might check another store tonight if I get a chance.

No big deal because I have the 250Q but it would be wonderful to upgrade (Ive heard the 350 really is that much better)

the penny deal got me! the store manager thought i was pulling a scam.

i purchased NON flammable contact cement in the quarts at 3 bucks a piece. they are normally 12. i use it everyday so its a good deal. i bought 8 of them. opened one, and found out non flammable contact cement is thinner than water and will not work for what i do. i have ten thousand receipts and couldnt find this particular one.

took them back and they rang up a penny. said she could only give my 8 cents back. i told her i bought it on clearance for 3 dollars just the other day. i just told her to keep them, they were no use to me. i feel like they thought i was a thief. oh well.

I just checked my local store, full price. I know I saw it at .06 clearance at one of the stores around here a few days ago. I guess I know what I will be doing tomorrow.

If you happen to find an extra one at a clearance price, feel free to PM me! Ive never seen a Fein item at anything other than full price at HD. They were clearing out the old model before the 250Q and I couldnt find that one either.

I checked another local store that had a qty of 1 in stock, figuring they would surely have it at clearance. But nope, still full price, and inventory was correct (I found the 1 they listed)

Just got a 350Q for 50.03, last one in stock. Tried to match it at my store (full price and 11 in stock), no luck. I know I've seen another store around here that also had them on clearance.

What store? I checked Methuen, salem, Londonderry, Manchester, Hooksett and concord yesterday with no luck. Several stores had the clearance but none in stock that I could find.

Somersworth. They actually pulled it off the shelf and set it on a clearance cart way out back in one of the doors aisles

I saw one in salem last week marked at 150.06 and wanted to wait. As soon as I saw the post I flew over there. Sucka was already gone [emoji22]

I'm really wishing I could find one of those Fein FMM350 starter kits around here. All the stores Ive checked are at regular price.

On a side note, someone has already been busy on ebay flipping them.

Same here.

Im not sure the rhyme/reason for clearancing it. I have stores that have a ton of them, stores that have 1 and stores that never had it.

And at all of these stores the price on the store computer is regular price.

I wish Fein had a trade-up program!

How the hell do y'all find these freakin $.01 deals??

The best way is to examine the date printed on a yellow tag. If the date is from 2014 it is probably a penny by now. The older the date, the more likely it is a penny. Even some tags dated Jan or Feb 2015 have scanned a penny.

also, look for clearance shelves on every single aisle including the outdoor garden areas. Usually every store has 2 main clearance shelve endcaps in the middle of the store. Those usually get heavy traffic so penny deals are hard to find there. But there are often other clearance shelves that are not as visably marked. You can often find better deals there. It also depends on how good your store's particular employees are at correctly tagging items. At one of the stores i go to, it seems the employees are very lazy updating the price tags. So many items sit on the shelf at full retail price tags, even though they have dropped to clearance prices and will scan cheaper at checkout...even a penny sometimes.

And I'm assuming you have to use the store computer to verify it's a Penny? No HD phone app or something you can scan the item with?

I've gotten more than my fair share of penny items at Despot. A scan in the phone app either comes back with item not recognized, or the previous price. This is something that can only be confirmed at the register.

Londonderry NH says they have 5 of the Skilsaws in stock but still full price $199. Every other store in the state sold out and had them clearanced at $50.03. 1000043007 if anyone in the area wants to try and get a price match.

Going back to the Skilsaw 1000043007, for anyone in northern Mass/southern NH, here's the online inventory count if anyone wants to call and check if they are on clearance for $50.03.

Methuen = 5
Tewksbury = 4
Reading = 4
Danvers = 5
East Danvers = 3
