42. By 48 they had switched to the standing/hanging racks. Mine is older though as it has the yellow logo and 42 had blue.

I picked up a couple DBE's yesterday. Of note, the P&C mini offset wrench ...

Just came across this thread. I cleaned out my garage sale box of extras a few weeks ago. Anyone looking for any of these DBE? Send me a PM if interested.

Bluebomber, when are you gunna remove the word "small" from the title of this thread? I think I'm up to 100+ DBE wrenches and I still don't have as many as you!

Speaking of growing collection, here's the two I mentioned last week along with a few more I picked up.

From the top to bottom:

Barcalo
Dunlap
unknown
Thorsen
unknown
Lectrolite
S-K
unknown
P&C
Wizard

Pic2:
- The 12-pt 1/4" x 5/16" Wizard is the smallest DBE I have ever seen!
- Vintage P&C 3/8" x 7/16. This is my favorite of the bunch.
- S-K 6-pt 3/8" x 7/16"

Rileysan,

Oh, if you're up over a hundred, you've got more than I do. Small is relative.

I like the little Wizard wrench, too. I know they weren't considered high quality tools back in the day, but I just dig 'em. They were named well if nothing else.

oooo that Wizard is a little one! I think the smallest one I have is a 3/8" x 7/16" Indestro.

It's quite literally the little things that get me excited!

Compared to many of the tools made today, they are top-notch!

Now I have the beginning of a tool set to match the box I found at a thrift store last November ...

I got a buddy of mine who is into cast iron cookware. He and wife go traveling----destination- Old Hardware. Makes her crazy.

I agree on every point!

I find this really fun, my wife is often irritated at me and thinks I need counseling, and I often plan trips around stops I want to make in search of the next find.

Do you think a counselor can help change her perception on my collecting interests?!? Might be worth a try ...

the four-piece set that I posted in this thread a week or so back never sold, so I sent a message to the seller and asked her to re-list it as a "buy now" and snagged it for under $20 bucks (incl. shipping.) it may well turn out that 3-piece set above might get no bids - Ebay is rife with those things, but most of them are the 5/8" x 11/16" or the oddball 3/4" x 25/32" - and they are not selling, which means: "it's arm-twising time."

You mean like this?

Pretty sure these are my smallest DBE;s (shown with the Indestro for comparison) I'd like to fins a full set of these DBE ignition wrenches. the DOE's are a dime a dozen...

I picked up a pair of stubby Vlchek wrenches from GJ member paulm12. They appear to be of two different runs. The 9/16" x 1/2" says "U.S.A." and the 7/16" x 3/8" says "Made in U.S.A." Neato--Thanks, Paul!

I like the short 1/2 x 9/16 DBE wrenches. Here are mine.
No dupes, but a couple of Indestro versions in there.

This is a set my Dad gave me. I don't use them, most still have the stickers on them, don't want to wear them off

The twenties? really? that is awesome. I'll check the site, thank you very much! I'm glad you guys like them. If Dad was still around, he'd be happy someone else liked them too. I'll try to pin down the years and get back with ya.
