I have this @ 2" lesbian extension. 3/8 female square at both ends, well made, nice chrome and not a mark on it. whats it for? any guess at maker?
its amongst stuff from late 90s Duro and Plomb to '90s Snap On.

And a little 1/4 driver...I haven't found a handle to it. No marking and there is the funny little hole in the neck.

Posed with a beat old Lufkin 50'

It's at lest a good theory

Here is another.
It fits an old Craftsman #2 phillips, but just slips on a newer one.
No markings except on the German INA roller clutch
I'd say the 'tooth' is abut the same as a Gearwrench, and the grip is strong.
I'm not sure you'd call it a ratchet, but I like it.
Maybe it's a stud driver?
Also it looks to be made on a lathe rather than forged.

I'd say torque wrench stuff too.

Funny that its female at both ends tho .. :dunno:

... but it probably required something like these little fellas, in the drive heads and for the socket.

That's a handle for a valve-adjusting tool. It helps you hold the screw adjuster steady on the valve while twisting.

It would certainly work on a D wrench, but would be by far the nicest I have ever seen.
Coupled with the guy had at least 2 distributor wrenches, and i haven't seen any free floating ends.

Lisle used to sell something very similar back in the '80's -'90's?
It was supplied with 2 round drive bits, 1 for slotted screws, 1 for no.1? pt. Phillips. It was advertised as suitable for accessing screws in tight confines such as under fender shields, under dash etc.

See:- Lisle no. 64250, Right Angle Ratcheting Screwdriver. The two bits were round stock and had maybe 1/4in section of knurling onto which fitted a gold anodized? cap or thumbwheel to either apply pressure to keep the bit engaged with the screw or spin the screw out when loosened.

With respect to 'bonneyman', I don't think it could be used for valve adjustment as the ratchet direction can't be reversed except by removing the bit and turning over the handle or as 'ducksface' says below, using a double ended bit.

Al.
