So if you put them together you get BVDs? Sorry, couldn't resist. I'm not sure who made those off hand. These fellas were peeking out of a tote at the flea market yesterday, so for $6 I brought them, two Dunlap DOEs and two wooden file handles home. These guys have good chrome and a nice ring to them. Wonder what age they may be within the 1937-50s range, and if J.P.Danielson (LC) or Moore Drop Forge (V) made them for Sears. The combination of forged-in letter codes on them makes me wonder - a V (or Y?) on the smallest, a V on the largest, a B on the middle one, and then an LC on both the smallest and middle one, but not on the largest. I'm leaning toward JPD, so maybe the B and Vs have to do with manufacture dates or something else.
Does anyone actually collect Dunlap, or is there just so much Craftsman out there that no one bothers?
Some cool wrenches in there, B-nut. I especially like the NoneBetter and the long C Craftsman DBEs. Also, "out of hand" is a phrase spouses and significant others use. It's a relative term. After I looked at this thread, I started buying these. I need to kick this habit before it gets out of hand.

Wilde shorty recent find here.
Wilde K.C. MO (Kansas City, Missouri) #107
Chrome Vanadium Steel
3/4 x 11/16
Here's the one Wilde DBE that I own. Opening sizes are 3/4" x 11/16" in the long pattern deep offset.
I've never seen a TRUTH DBE.

What are your thoughts on that wrench 3bay? I have a couple but you really don't see many Wilde marked wrenches. They are exactly like Truth wrenches, which are also rare as hen's teeth.
I haven't been able to figure out who made what for whom......Truth for Wilde, Wilde for Truth, or someone else for both.
Awesome! Please do. Let me know if you have any problems.Twertsy- Not sure what to make of this.
I took a look at the moon wrenches on your site and they look very much alike.
Username - Nice wrench, same sizes too. Also looks like the Truth DBE on the site.
Twertsy. not to get off topic but I have some items I would like to upload to the site, including a Wilde ratchet.

I actually have a little Dunlap collection going that started with a $2.00 toolbox. The tools keep showing up at my house!

Catalogs. So what do you do, go to the museum and get them to bring out samples?
i have one of those LOL. its a male female 3/8 deal so you can adjust the band in the transmissions. im not sure on the years it fits.Stage: a really nice selection! The double square DBE may be a torque wrench extender. I've got something like that for a Chrysler transmission.

Do you mind if I ask what the second wrench down on the left picture is? Right below the square wrench? It looks like it might be Barcalo or Vlchek. Thanks!

Thanks. If it had been a Barcalo I might have tried to talk you out of it.
