Well guys, they didn't finish an inventory, and there are a couple dozen full size extensions in a 5 gallon bucket I didn't get photographed, but here she is in all her present glory. My favorite hydraulic guy has already found soft part kits for the two 10 ton pumps (which need them) and then we will see how bad the powered rams need attention. Used, abused, beautiful IMHO.

Wow. Absolutely drool worthy! I'd love to find that.

Here's a pair of double box ends I got in an Ebay lot yesterday.

Nice find.... I believe that raised panel wrench style is fairly scarce.

Thanks for posting those pics. Very nice and now I have a better idea of what to look for.

Thought I'd post these up here, the only thing Blackhawk I own. Have only made it to page 4 of this thread so this may have been answered already. I like the way they're welded with an overlap, very nice build quality. Any idea of the time frame when these were produced? Guessing 60's-70's, but if someone can narrow it down.

I picked up three Blackhawk tools from an Ebay auction.

1232bfdaf8bf089cfc96ede438f9d8a5.jpg

The first is the elusive split-groove deep offset 15626 (7/8" x 13/16"), although now that I have four of them, maybe not so elusive.

Next is an AW-1008 8" adjustable wrench--my first BH adjustable!

Finally, a broken GW-9945 1/4" ratchet. It looks like the selector plate that moves the pawl broke. Does anyone have a source for repair parts?

Well this is my first time visiting this post. The reason is I 'm looking for some info on a Blackhawk jack I just bought off of CL. Picture coming tomorrow, its 12* outside, and its in the back of my truck.:dunno:

Absolutely beautiful!

That is the BlackHawk jack that I've been chasing after for a long time. Meanwhile, this one surfaced during the hunt.

Hopefully I will stumble across one like yours this year.

That's a nice looking jack there!
Funny thing is, I wasn't even looking for a old jack. I was on CL and BAM, there it is:) I'm not even sure what a good price is for one, I just liked the shape and said, "I don't see those very often, better buy it":bounce:

I just saw your post Herb. Thats a beauty and any price is ok if you like it
and I like it too congrats on your find. Did you get a key for the handle??

no:mad:, I didn't even know it had a key until I came across the thread about these jacks. I'm trying to get back with the guy to see if he has it. I bought it so quick, I was just slap happy I guess?:dunno:

Blu Bomber, you still have the 60 Chevy?
Bug, sorry I missed your question from the 9th. Yes, I do still have the '60 Bel Air, but it doesn't look as good as it did in my profile picture. It's currently off the road, full of mice, and in need of a full restoration.

Blue Bomber, I did read some on your fire! I did see where the 60 was caught up in the fire. I have a 60 4 door also, was why I was asking.

Yep, the fire skunked it up outside, and the heat or the fire hose cracked the windshield, then the mice skunked up the inside. It makes me sad when I look at it, but it will be getting some love this fall after my youngest is off the college.

Happy to see pix of your '60, if you've posted them elsewhere on GJ.

I posted this on the Garage Sale thread, but repeating here for completeness.

$35 delivered, so not a screaming deal. I bought it for the split-grove DBE--the rest will go back on Ebay or offered as trading fodder for more DBEs.

errr... yeah I believe they did..... my old man carried Blackhawk in the early 1960s before he changed to Challenger... that's way back for me but I seem to remember it was a "full line" of hand tools.
The display boards were absolutely ugly, though: deep red.... ugh ugh ugh.

I swore that I wouldn't collect tool boards but I couldn't resist with this one.

Vintage 3/8" drive pieces were tough to find. I still don't have the exact needed 6 point sockets, allen wrench or the special transmission socket but at least the twelve point sockets I do have are period correct.
