Few other members suggested the univer.co, so I ended up getting this combo kit off amazon for $60 (the release valve and coupler go for $35 ea) and also got an adapter hose for the lock n lube. Gonna stick the univer.conon the end of the adapter so I can have the best of both worlds

I see your MyTurf paperwork in the background. I'm a mechanic at a golf course too.

Just got these from FedEx! The socket sets are all from Tooldiscounter.com awesome people and upgraded the 1/2" set to match because they were out of stock on the cheaper ones at no charge! Unreal! The ratchet set I got on eBay for a killer deal. Nice to have a full and complete assortment of sockets and ratchets. Now to get the wrenches!!

I wasn't very impressed with these. If the second from the right looks like the head is canted over - it is.

I got them for beaters and loaners and they will serve for that.

Just received my Knipex hose pliers in the mail today with comfort grip :) Does anyone know if Knipex makes them with various diameters?

i most often get my tools at the swap meet, but not always. i've been looking for a 1950s Snap-on NS-15-L breaker bar to mate with my 1956 Snap-on L-715 ratchet. i just won an example on the cheap from an ebay auction.

Stopped on the Matco truck today. Dealer is really cool and I bought something small from him before. He had the snap on wobbles and adapter set in the used box and the VIM long torx are new. Tossed in a hat and pocket screwdriver for Christmas. Everything out the door for $150 cash. Killer deal.

I've been thinking of grabbing the Sunex hose pliers but those sure are pretty...

I ended up having a sort of Astro Pneumatics themed Christmas.

The jump kit was a surprise. My girlfriend remembered me talking about wanting one a while ago. However she didn't remember that I was specifically talking about the Diesel version. I'm going to try to chip in a little on top to exchange it for the Diesel one if I can find it but it doesn't seem to be on Amazon anymore.

a new pair of Oakley sunglasses since I broke my last!

went to 3 different lowes today to find the last box set drill/impact driver combo with batteries and charger for $159!

also bought a set of mayhew dominators off of amazon and have to say I love these things!!

Merry Christmas to me. I spent my christmas $ today on a couple tool sets off craigslist. First one I had to drive a couple hours each way to get. Wright 1" drive set. 1-7/16 to 3-1/8" , ratchet, breaker bar, extension, adaptor, one odd impact ingersoll rand (usa made). $200 (yes it was worth going for a ride)

Can personally say I'm not a fan of those Irwin slip joint pliers. My work bought them for me and I had the teeth wore smooth in a couple months semi daily use

Heavy metal how is the fit on the guards? My dealer wouldn't sell me them because he thought they were a poor fit

She's definitely a keeper!

After 27 years, we both have learned a little about the other

They fit very nicely, IMO. I think these are a little different than the ones they used to sell for KRL's. The double stick tape is very thin and makes a very nice tight fit against the handle / latch portion.

I will use the Irwin slip joints once or twice a year, at best.
So, they are probably fine for a casual hobbyist.
