A few more needed toys this week just the small stuff. Got all 4 craftsman work lights for .54 cents had points that were gonna expire lol [emoji23]

I just got the craftsman work light myself using points. I like the magnet at the bottom and seems like it has decent built quality. It has pretty good review too.

Going to order some more once I have more points to spend

For father's day I picked up a set of gearwrenches...sears had them for 1/2 off....not sure if 70 was a good price or not. Also was suprised to see they are made in china. For some reason I thought that they were made in the USA
But I am still happy ;) 85929012a56d8d93e930a55086ac8066.jpg

I think that's about the lowest I've seen for that set, no complaints there. I have several different GW sets made in Taiwan and China. I don't think you'll have any problems at all.

Snap On hand impact driver, terminal cleaners, the GJ-Approved caliper press, and a Hakko soldering station to replace the craptastic 1990s Craftsman trigger type soldering gun that gave me fits last week.

Picked up the black cart today. It's in rough shape cosmetically, but functions great. Didn't need it, but you know how that goes.

Hi torque. I sold my dewalt impact to dad last year with the intention of buying this right away. 9 months later I finally found a good enough deal on one while I had enough money to pull the trigger.

Just got my first Tekton tools. Two wobble extensions as a test to see how well I like them. The first I noticed about them is that they don't put their name on them. If these tools are as good as their reviews, why don't they put their name on them.

Are these any good? Princess Auto had these on for $60 off retail. I'm was tired of borrowing my mechanics or a buddies, so hope this is a decent tool. It appeared to be a middle of the road option in the Autel line that was stocked.

New guy here, but I can already tell that this thread is going to be bad news for my pocketbook.

What does everyone think of Tekton?

Saw these and they looked good enough that I couldn't pass them up for the price.

Tekton seems to make a quality product, and its backed by excellent customer service. Most of their tools are made in Taiwan with some being made in USA and China. The USA made pliers (by Wilde I think) are supposed to be very good, especially for the money. I have a couple of their 1/4" stubby ratchets and I like them very much.

They used to be, and some stuff still is, but they've really become a value leader.

Sounds like Harbor Freight. I have killed alot of their old stuff. But the things I have gotten in the past few years has been amazing.

Slick and classic looking. I should make one.

Thanks. :)

Here are how the pieces look before assembly, if it helps you:

That picture was taken before I decided to add dados for movable dividers, but I'm sure you can see how those need to go.

I don't know if there's a better place to post this or not, but if anyone is looking for Flex Head GearWrenches, I just bought the 7 piece SAE and Metric set from True Value online for only $35 (online price only) per set. Free shipping if shipped to a store near you.

Bought these a couple months ago for a similar price. The 13mm broke on my first use and no longer ratchets. Reminds me, I need to look into warranty.
