I ended up with 6 out of 10 nickels, and the 2:20-4pm game must have given me a dollar too but I didn't get to see the win screen between all the error messages on it.

Musta been barely played at the time as everyone I told elsewhere was getting like 6-8 at least. Sometimes the game can barely spit out even one nickel, so was nice to see.

That's a typical message when the system goes bonkers.

The only time it's a concern is if you are the only one getting it and nobody else is reporting it.

The Catch-22 is since so many gave up Sweeps, it may affect many but you don't see reports as fast anymore.

Buddy's $15 finally taken care of by his PS.

PS called SYW directly and said if it's been a week, SYW will take care of it.

Wow....XTRA seems even worse today. Taking dozens of attempts to play 3:30 game.

Yeah, this is pathetic. I think I eventually managed to lose at that one, but I was never able to play the 5-6:30pm CT $4 bonus game at all, and now both 7pm games are failing repeatedly. :headshake I've gotta buy some more stuff tomorrow, I need some wins!

Update: Eventually lost the 7pm Xtra, but was never able to play the 7pm bonus. sigh

Got the blocked message after too many attempts to play the $2 WW, but it finally let me back into Xtra again after the game is over.

While looking for help on being blocked, found new schedule for Wild Wins Wed:

Will be: two (2) Entry Periods are defined as follows:
§ Entry Period #1: Between 12:00:00 am CT and 12:00 pm CT on April 3, 2019
§ Entry Period #2: Between 12:00:01 pm CT and 11:59:59 pm CT on April 3, 2019

Code: aWildClubCode

Maybe they realize we'll need 12 hrs just to play one round of WWW with all the errors.

Could be, I noticed just trying to finish normal XTra, it was taking like an hour but normally I can get them all done in like 15-20 min.

I know I normally am playing for like 15 cents total many days but I like to play for the randoms like $1 from Mystery Prizes.

I figure might as well get as many nickles as possible to go with MC Points.

What is MC points?

New WWW prizes.

$20, $10, $0.20, $0.10.

It's also 8 spins now as you get a video play also now.

Got 4 x $0.10 on WWW, but xtra is running very slow. Much better than the usual 15 cents. I may be able to get $1 with another round of WWW and other random xtra (assuming that it works).

Good luck

Sears MasterCard Points

Anyway, XTRA seems like a good thing to play until they fix it.

Been getting way more 25 and 50 cent wins than usual. Not like 10 but at least 1 or two which is nice as many days my total is only 15-30 cents for the day.

So basically they cut the total daily prizes available from $15,000 to $10,000 because it is still $5,000 per play period. And they moved the odds around by changing the win amounts and number of spins per period. Meh.

Oh
They're definitely having some kind of back-end issue, still happening this morning. Very long response times in the app and on desktop site.

Just 3 $0.10s for me in the first half.

better than me--got .10 total. WWW has been hating me for about 5-6 weeks now. a few times ive struck out completely on all WWW in a full day of playing, but usually, if im very lucky, theyll give me one small win a day.

though im surprised to have been able to get that--dont think i could get a single game to load all yesterday and then the "suspended" account the day before. and in the past half hour ive been able to get through one full round (plus all WWW) so i think i'll hang it up for today other than trying the WW dollar games

on a side note: i did get a $10 off $80 freecash email today. just found that to be an odd amount

There was a Wall Street Journal article yesterday about how Sears in bankruptcy, yet their rewards program is one of the most rewarding. It was a pay-lock article, otherwise I'd link to it.

article link - I wouln't mind if anyone who has access, copying the text of the article and sending my way.

Sears Went Into Bankruptcy—but Its Lavish Rewards Program Won’t Quit
The shrinking number of people who still shop at the retailer can leave with bags of freebies, thanks to one of America’s most generous customer programs

During one of her regular Sears shopping sprees, Kyra Dwyer picked out $150 of clothes for herself and her daughter. She was charged $18.

The 47-year-old is a member of Shop Your Way, Sears’s loyalty program. She regularly stopped at the store near her home in Fairfield, Conn., until it closed in January, on her way home from her work for the Coast Guard. She scooped up Craftsman tools, Lee jeans and a snowblower for her parents. Nearly all of the items were paid for with rewards points.

Fewer people shop at Sears these days. Of those who do, many leave with bags full of freebies, thanks to what is considered one of the most generous rewards programs in the business, one that persists, zombie-like, despite the company’s financial woes.

“Other retailers don’t even come close,” says Michelle Price, business-development manager for Hip2save.com, a deal-tracking website.

In the fall, Ms. Price bought sheet pans, a sauce pan and tights for a total of $36.77. After applying her Shop Your Way points and other rewards, her final tally: $0.

Shoppers earn $1 in points for every $100 they spend at Sears and its sister chain Kmart. Sears also offers cash back, sometimes in the equivalent amount of the purchase, for instance, giving $60 in credits back to a shopper who spends $60. And there are free cash bonuses in which Sears simply gives shoppers money, notifying them by text or email. Unlike some other retailers that require people to pay with a store card to earn rewards, Sears shoppers can use any type of payment.

Ms. Price and her co-workers, who all work remotely, send alerts on the Slack messaging service when they see Sears giveaways. “We’ll say, OMG, there’s $10 in free cash today,” she says. She often buys things she doesn’t need, because they are essentially free, like the eight pairs of nylons she once scored.

People don’t even have to shop at Sears or Kmart to rack up points. Members get $1 for every Uber ride. They can also get cash back for spending at partner websites like Expedia or Ulta Beauty. And by linking certain credit cards to their Shop Your Way account, people can get rewards for online purchases at retailers such as Walmart and Target that compete with Sears. There is also a Sears Mastercard that sweetens the payouts.

“It seems almost too good to be true,” says Amanda Dawson of Millville, N.J. The 33-year-old nurse says she never shopped at Sears or Kmart before signing up for the membership program a year ago, which she came across on one of the couponing apps she uses.

Since then she has accumulated points that allowed her to buy $30 to $40 of goods a month, usually without having to spend any additional money. Her bounty includes a wooden filing cabinet.

Sears Holdings Corp., which owned Sears and Kmart, filed for bankruptcy protection in October and closed hundreds of stores. It agreed to sell its remaining stores, rewards program and other assets to a new company controlled by Edward Lampert, the hedge fund manager and former Sears CEO.

The next most generous plan after Shop Your Way is Kohl’s Corp.’s Yes2You Rewards, according to Hip2save.com. “With Kohl’s you have to purchase up front in order to earn the reward,” Ms. Price says. “Sears will just give you cash.”

The giveaways have left some customers who are aware of Sears’s perilous financial state puzzled.

Richard Wagoner bought six shirts from Sears that cost $50 in total, and only paid half that amount after deducting points. “They were ridiculously cheap,” says the 55-year-old math teacher, who lives in Rancho Palos Verdes, Calif. “I’m sure Sears lost money on them, and that is one of their problems.”

Leena Munjal, a Sears co-CEO, says the loyalty program, which was introduced in 2009, not only rewards its 49 million members but helps Sears learn about their shopping preferences and needs. She says about 15 million members have redeemed rewards in the past 15 months.

“These are people who are not only receiving points but they’re coming back and redeeming their points, which shows they understand the value of these points,” Ms. Munjal says. “And that’s a great asset to have—that gives you a direct line of communication with your member base.”

Fred Imber, who worked as a mattress salesman in a Sears store in Bethesda, Md., says shoppers were encouraged to come back, but then picked a lot of goods free. “I never saw a reward card that gave away so much money,” he says.

A Sears spokesman says the data it collects from the program will help it stay competitive. “We look forward to continuing to expand Shop Your Way’s partners and services and creating more opportunities for our members to engage with their favorite brands and retailers,” he said.

Ms. Dwyer, the Coast Guard worker, says Sears peppered her with emails reminding her to use points before they expired. She shopped often enough to attain VIP Platinum status in the Sears program—a distinction for those who make 30 purchases totaling $2,000 a year. That entitled her to a “personal shopper,” extra cash back during her birthday month and four $4.99 oil changes a year.

Some Sears fans say it’s getting harder to earn and redeem points. Not because Sears is changing the program rules—some airlines do that after filing for bankruptcy—but because the stores are disappearing.

There are currently about 220 Sears and 205 Kmart stores, down from more than 2,000 combined locations a decade ago. Many Shop Your Way members say they don’t buy as much online, because point redemptions don’t count toward the $59 minimum required for free shipping.

Kerry Ozmelek had gotten free items at Sears almost weekly using her points, including a $40 dress from the Simply Emma line. Now that the Sears near her home in Latrobe, Pa., closed, she isn’t shopping at the chain as much.

“It was a good deal while it lasted,” says the 50-year-old high-school career counselor.

Someone on SD also posted screenshots of that WSJ article the other day, here.

This article is probably not good for us, but at least it didn't mention the games!

I noticed also immediately.

I was slightly surprised how quickly they glossed over the Sears Mastercard. Only one sentence but they made a bigger deal about Uber.

I'd think they'd mention the credit card more as lately it's been spitting out like $15/mo for me just off my everyday spending I have to do anyway.

Wow, can the XTra system get any worse?

Seemed to be crashing on me constantly. Luckily I got the majority of my games done in the early A.M. when it was oddly way faster and way more stable.

Is anybody at all even working on it?

I’ll fix it for free points . Could be any number of back-end issues.

Somehow they managed to keep the order system from crashing. Placed an order last night, got the shipping email today .

Fingers crossed that someone still knows how to fix it but is just on vacation this week. ;)

I eventually fought my way to $3.10 total, with 1 $1 win. By the time I mostly-finished, it was so late that I had to rush more than I like in deciding what to order. (Still can't order what I really wanted to. ) Spent everything, starting over from $0 for the next 2 weeks now.

Anyone else missing some wins from XTra today?

Just seems like a few wins especially one of the 200s hasn't show up.

Seems lately on Weds, wins can take days to show up.

On a side note, at least at this hour, XTra seems incredibly better.

I had a 200pt-winning WWWed play get 'stuck' yesterday evening. For at least 15 minutes, the glitchy site kept making it look like my last WWWed play was still incomplete (the play button that comes up after doing a share/code was still in the haven't-played-it-yet state), and each time I tried it, it would show me the same 200pt win, without recording it in my history again (the first time did show up promptly). I figured it was just a mirage and I didn't really win again on the extra plays. Maybe something like that happened to you too?

Didn't think of that, that might be what happened in my case.

I seen another person say their $1 win from the 5:30PM game not show, so figured maybe that's why mine didn't show up.

That's the $1 game I won yesterday, mine showed up right away, FWIW.

I haven't been having much errors/glitches so far today, hopefully it's fixed-ish now. Or maybe enough people gave up after the last few frustrating days that the server load is lower, for now.

Edit: Of course 20min later it's back to being half-useless again. :p

Ha, I sure could've used a proactive PS like this yesterday! Someone on SD said today,

" I had a lot of points expiring, but I was still $0.80 short on the item I wanted.
My Personal Shopper reached out to me because of the expiring points and I told them I was trying to earn the $0.80.
The Personal Shopper gave me $10 in points and was able to order the item with Free Shipping to my house somehow... so now I have $9 and change left over! "

I was fighting for pennies till 11:45 last night and still ended up a buck fifty short, with $20+ that would have expired. :p

I don't know how on Earth Sears does it.

Not from my PS, but I've had Chat actually do that before.

I literally just asked them when the sale on a clothing item is over, that I am still waiting on getting $5 in points I believe it was.

Chat just was like "I am going to give you $10 for this order" then sure enough another user after I said what happened wanted something and chat do the same thing for them.

We both were in utter amazement like "How can they just throw money around like that?".

Nice to see a fellow PS user. I don't typically see many users saying they use their PS all the time.

Even though going through the PS is not as convenient as ordering yourself and sone other glitches here and there, it's nice that so far they let you ship any order total. So even if you only have say $4 by the end of two weeks, your PS can ship free a $4 item.

The PSes even seem way more knowledgable than Chat and can get various discounts working much easier than chat. Mine even can get a hold of SYW when having Sweeps issues. Even gave me $5 in points when Sears canceled my order but a $5 FREECASH was used.
