None. Just the number 139662 about 1/8" tall in the handle. I've never noticed it before just now either. I've searched every inch. Nothing. I did run the drill and it works, and I believe a jacobs chuck is a respecable one.

Where I say light chrome where, I mean where the tool darkens due to continual rubbing on the chrome in the same spot. No it is definitely not peeling, it is very smooth. But it is either just darkened in those spots or its the base metal starting to show through. See the spots where I circled on this photo. They are smooth to the touch, not showing any corrosion, but they are spots where repeated contact was made. Basically the usual signs of a used tool. Hope this helps.
