New Bosch 500 ft lbs Impact Wrenches

Power isn't everything, but is sometimes nice to have. The new Bosch impact wrenches offer 500 ft lb max torque, and a few other upgrades.

Not something I'd have a need for anytime soon, but is a reasonable alternative for those of us w/o large compressors.

That's nice. What is the snappy unit rated at ? Sure makes battery availability alot easier.

620 bolt break-away, 400 max.

The older one was made in the USA http://www.boschtools.com/Products/Tools/Pages/BoschProductDetail.aspx?pid=21618 . Only one of the new models have been added to their website. I can try to find out if the info isn't available once the new product pages are up.

About $200 less and I'd buy it right now.

I'm too cheap/poor to ever own a decent cordless impact

Would get a TON of use out of it too..

If the 500 that Bosch is giving is actual torque and not break away then it should be worth it. I am going to take a wild guess that it's made in Malaysia.

I already have this Bosch 18V Lithium Ion Impact Wrench before it announced . This Impact Wrench was Assembled in USA and doesn't state where does it made .

Do you have some pics of your tool ? How does it look in reality ? How does it perform compared to an air tool ?

ok , I will upload the picture later . I unable to test the Impact Wrench because currently I didn't have any Impact Ready Socket .
