There's a lot of stuff packed in that space... I couldn't do it hitting the car every time I pull the drawer open:scared:

It's good to see a garage that looks normal, as opposed to be totally spotless.

I often wonder if any work ever gets done in garages that are totally spick and span.

it would be cleaner if i had more space but id probaly just fill it up again.

WOW that looks almost IDENTICAL to my garage!!! Window in the same spot and everything.
Except I have MUCH less tools, no compressor and no cool car in it LOL

Oh and no electricity yet either... I am hoping that changes this spring :)

You're a certified tool hoarder! Throw away half of those screw drivers.

I know, I can't do it either. ;) :D

for some reason i get a new screwdriver set every christmass. il thin the pack but they wont get trashed. i acualy like the soft grip ones from harbor freight the most.

i was going threw old pics of my car and saw this. it was 4 yrs ago i was17 no tools except for that small set, no shelfs, there was acualy room to walk around the car and do some work. im taking the dash out and rewireing it in this pic. now its hard just to get in the car and to get the garage door to shut when the cars inside.

Great work space. Some people think that you need huge shop to get something done but you have showed that minimal space works well too:thumbup: Thanks for the pica.

no acual work has been done in the garage in the last 2 years. anything that needs to be done its out in the driveway. kind of sux when your a landscaper you get a day off becouse it rains and you cant even work on your car.
i cant wait to move and build a 30x60, this isnt my only toy so i need alot more room.

I know this is probably going to be sacrilege among this crowd.... But with that much space is it really worth storing 15 8" P2 screwdrivers in your main box (exaggerating)?

If it were me, I'd work on separating my tools between the ones I use regularly and their duplicates. Store the duplicates away until you find a bigger space or send the regulars to work. Every square inch counts in a small garage!

Looks familiar to what I have been working out of for the last 15 years! Built a pretty nice 70 Mustang in it too!
The dash rewiring is known territory for me too! Did you know that a 1970 XR-7 dash fits in a 70 Mustang!! Just a smidge of rewiring.

How many days have you had the car half in the garage to work on it?
Looks like a fun spot, but a bigger space is a hoot!

i did that awhile ago. i only have a craftsman/husky mixed up set a snap on rachet driver and a matco rachet driver set with difrent shanks size and bits.
i have one other craftsman set in my smal box.

acualy only one time. it was raining and i needed to do a tune up when i first started driveing it after it was sitting for a few yrs.
the best i have is 2 winters ago it snowed alot. i had to keep plowing my drive way so i could get the car out and strip the paint with a DA. the only time i do work inside the garage is when its real cold i can work on my 4 wheeler or dirtbike inside and put the car out.

Most of us have way too many tools. I am 68, and have inherited all my grandfather, uncle, father, and others tools. I have about 4 complete sets of automotive tools, at least two sets of carpenter tools, a full set of plumbing tools, electronic sets, and then there is all the stuff I have bought myself over all these years. I am still buying them. I guess I need to get help, but everytime I see something I don't have, or even just looks good to me, I have to get it. I was even nuts enough to buy that Fein Multitool set for $400.00 just because I saw a trim carpenter using one. The guy said he could not live without it, so I figured I couldn't either. I lost count of my collection of different tool boxes, bags, belts, and storage cabinets. Yep, I really do need to lie on that couch and say "Dr, I have a problem".
