I think you would be disappointed. I've used the BLT stuff in a couple of trailers and I have a chunk of leftover coin-style that I use as a mat in the garage.
It works fine in the trailer, but it isn't all that thick or sturdy, even though I bought the heavier-duty version. Turning a tire on it will make it bunch, even though I used the BLT recommended adhesive (which wasn't very good, BTW). The mat piece I have in the garage never really lies flat and leaking oil and other solvents tend to make it ripple. As Jack says, it does tend to expand and contract a lot with temperature, as well.
It serves its purpose fine in the trailer and the mat protects the garage floor fine, but if you are looking for a sturdy flooring that will stay flat, you probably ought to look into the thick industrial coin tiles.
BTW, the ribbed version of the BLT floor is a nightmare to clean, to answer your other question. **** sticks in every groove and it is hard to mop or broom out. I had it in my first trailer and went to coin in my second because of that. The coin version is much better for cleaning.
