Miskin,
I am no expert on these tools but will tell you what I know. The handles are called friction ratchets and you can get different drive plugs(the missing part you are looking for) with the various size ratchets. If you go to:

http://www.samstagsales.com and look under Gedore tools you will see this ratchet number is still sold!
Also it has the Walter name and symbol (another German tool maker)on your ratchet maybe Gedore made these under their patent. If you cross post on the 'Tools from the Old World' thread members with more knowledge will help.

It must be the 31kvr with 31vr insert. You can also use the 31r ring insert.
Nice find. :drool: And expensive a bit ;)


ps. Unfortunately the catalog haven't the insert that you are looking for.

You can always use a ratchet adapter with the proper ring insert.

But it's not the same thing of course.
I'll ask my dealer if he has something in stock. I'm waiting some stuff next week so..
