I went to get the KLR1003 this morning at 6 am and I got back with it at 7 pm. It's unloaded and sitting in my old garage for now.

Loading and unloading with the ramps I made was very easy. I chocked all four wheels on both sides, strapped it down and wrapped it as mikester recommended and even with very hard rain it stayed completely dry.

I am luckly to have found this toolbox. The color looks even better than I thought it would. The condition of the toolbox is flawless, ; it looks brand new. Not a ding, dent, scratch, scrape or anything on it. Now lets see how long I can keep it in as good of condition.

Congrats on the purchase, Ron! I know you've been looking for a box for awhile so I'm sure it's got to be very gratifying to get one you're completely happy with.

Not every day that you see an ml pulling a trailer, let alone with a tool box on it.

Couple more photos. It's in my old garage for now since I want to put another clearcoat on my epoxy floor. Hopefully it will be moved to new garage in a week or so.

I like the butcher block top. Did you specifically want to go with a wooden top?

I bought the toolbox used and it came with the wooden top. I would have preferred a stainless steel top. The guy I bought it from said he got the wooden top instead of stainless because he figured he would be less likely to use the wooden top as a work surface and therefore less likely to damage the toolbox.
