I live in Australia and I just bought a Hazet 166N tool trolley from Amazon.de. There's a 20% discount at checkout since sales tax (VAT) is not charged for shipments outside the EU. Additionally I paid EUR $160 for expedited shipping, although this was upgraded to UPS courier delivery (I think due to weight).

They have the much bigger and heavier Hazet 162C tool trolley (similar to 166C, only difference are the pillars don't collapse) for sale. When I placed it in my shopping cart and checked out, the shipping fee is only EUR $21!! That's dirt cheap shipping for a 30kg item to Australia, most likely it's a system glitch.

If you ever wanted a Hazet 162C/166C tool cart, now is the time to buy. Don't worry about the quantity available, once gone it will show "delivery in a few weeks" but it will ship the next few days and stock level will go back to 1. From the packaging I received, I suspect the goods are shipped directly from Hazet.

I like these a lot. I saw a Stahlwille model at a local BMW shop. It was the guy's original "box" when he came over from Germany.

Are these carts sturdier than I am imagining ? They seem like they would be all wobbly.

I'm no expert -- and I certainly haven't used this type of cart everyday, which is I would imagine the only way you really get to know if the set up is for you. (My everyday boxes are a Classic 78 and a KR537/557 set up.) But I kind of like the the "layout" of these trolleys. Everything is in pretty easy grabbing distance when the trolley is fully extended, it would seem to me.

That said, I've certainly come to appreciate the benefits and drawbacks of my SO boxes since I put them into everyday action. I can see why a guy who used a box everyday would go for the KRL over the KRA, for instance.

These carts look simple but they are made solid, there's absolutely no wobble. It's German engineering at it's best.

I know the price is hardly Hot Deals forums material but you can't beat the $21 international shipping to outside of EU!

I noticed that Amazon.de has recently increased the product weight to 30kg (previously 1kg). Therefore the super special shipping fee no longer applies.
